Here’s the second ring that I’ve done in this style, but this time, I didn’t put a sand texture on any of the diamond shapes. However, I did put a sand texture on the back of the shank, which goes with the sand texture on the sides of the bezel. Front and center is a blueish-greenish-grey specimen of Damele, with a dark brown matrix which I cut from rough. An absolute beauty, especially for those that don’t like super bright colored stones. Also, it has a different shape than what you normally see, making it that much more unique. This ring is made from solid sterling silver, which was cast from an ingot, then milled flat. The patterns were done by chisel-point, then the edges were sculpted round with files and rotary tools.
