With this design, it kinda came out of nowhere when I was eating dinner. Normally I would jot down my thought, but I knew I wouldn’t forget this one. The next day, I was on it. The design was made by chisel point, then I sculpted the tufts using a rotary tool. This ring is made from solid sterling silver. The bezel is made from heavy gauge material and each prong is cut by hand. I also cut the stone, which is Damele Turquoise Variscite, which is one of my favorites. This specimen is gem hard and I cut it in a funky shape and kept the corners sharp, which can be difficult to set. There is also a sand texture on the band and side of the bezel. I also did a sand texture on some of the diamond tufts, by alternating, creating a great visual effect.
