Carico Lake is one of my favorite types of turquoise. It has a wide range of colorations. Some of which are rarer than others. The smaller of the two stones has a milky blue to white color with a reddish brown matrix and the larger of the two stones is a greenish tone, leaning toward an apple green hue. Each stamped embellishment was made from stamps that I made in my shop. Each one is delicately domed to form a slight shadowboxed interior. This is a stunningly beautiful piece! The photos are taken in full sunlight and in the shade, with full natural light and no filters used in post processing. The stamping on the shank has a feminine look and feel to it which goes really well with the stamping. All and all, it’s a wonderful piece!
